The Warriors men’s volleyball program has signed their third recruit for the 2023-24 season, Thomas Andersen of Calgary, AB. Andersen is a left side applying to the Accounting and Financial Management program at the University of Waterloo.

Head Coach Shayne White had this to say about Thomas:

“Thomas is very athletic and very quick off the floor. He is already spike touching 11’3 and he will only improve as he gets stronger.  He has a great base to improve his skills and mature his athleticism. He attacks life and the sport with great enthusiasm, and he fits our program and needs very well.  Hard working student who cares about academics and athletically driven and Thomas comes very a great family.  We are very excited for his potential and future.”

Thomas had this to say about Waterloo and the men’s volleyball program:

“Waterloo has an awesome academic and athletic environment.  The coaching staff and players are amazing.  They are all so welcoming where everyone supports each other and they have a great competitive drive, all of which will make be better on the court and in the classroom.  I am very excited to be part of the Warrior men’s volleyball team.
