Another exciting season of Bobcat volleyball resumes at the HLC this weekend.
The Bobcats welcome the University of Alberta for matches Friday and Saturday. First serve in Friday’s women’s match is 6 p.m. with the men to follow at 7:45 p.m.
Saturday’s start times are 5 p.m. & 6:45 p.m.
The Bobcats are coming off an opening weekend road trip to Saskatoon and looking to find some good fortune in the comfort of home court.
Fans are encouraged to dress up in Halloween costumes Saturday as the Bobcats and BU Biological Society team up for a food drive for Samaritan House.
Look for a booth up on the HLC track during this weekend’s games for a food drive and raffle in which all food donations will be made to the Samaritan House of Brandon.
Any non-perishable food items are welcome but the most wanted items include:
– Healthy soups and stews
– Infant formula
– Whole grain pasta
– Whole grain cereal
– 100% real fruit juice
– Canned vegetables
– Canned fish, meat and beans
The Bobcats are also welcoming students from campus for BUSU Night on Saturday.
Tickets are available online for both Friday and Saturday’s matches with Alberta.
Tickets are the door can be purchased (cash only).
The Bobcats and Westman Communications Group are also partnering up for another exciting year of coverage. Viewers in the Westman region can watch all of the action on WCGtv.
Online webcasts will also be available of all home games on CanadaWest.tv.
