Update: Junior (men) and Youth (women) World Championships

Canada swept Bahrain 3-0 today in the opening game of Pool H in the second stage of the FIVB Volleyball U21 Men’s World Championship in Sofia, Bulgaria.

September 27, 2021: Canada swept Bahrain 3-0 (25-22, 25-21, 25-17) today in the opening game of Pool H in the second stage of the FIVB Volleyball U21 Men’s World Championship in Sofia, Bulgaria on Monday.

Canada had finished third in its pool during the first stage of the tournament, so does not finish in the top 8.

In Mexico at the U18 Girls’ Championship, Canada has faced some strong volleyball nations to be fourth in its pool, and today meets Slovakia at 18:30 ET in the round for classification (9-16).
