LANGLEY, B.C. – After two quarterfinal sweeps against their respective opponents, Trinity Western moves on to the Canada West semifinals, which will be hosted at the Langley Events Centre.
Women’s volleyball stays put at No. 1 after defeating UBC Okanagan in straight-sets twice, advancing to the conference semifinal weekend against No. 5 Winnipeg.
Men’s volleyball jumps to No. 4 after defeating Brandon twice in the Canada West quarterfinals. The Spartans take on No. 8 Calgary in the Canada West semifinals at the Langley Events Centre this weekend.

About Spartan Athletics
As official members of U SPORTS, the Spartans currently compete in 13 sports in the Canada West conference, including women’s and men’s soccer, volleyball, basketball, hockey, cross country and track & field, as well as women’s rugby sevens. TWU also competes as an independent team in men’s rugby, as well as women’s and men’s disc golf. Since TWU entered U SPORTS in 1999, the Spartans have won 13 U SPORTS team championships and 32 Canada West team championships.
