TORONTO, Ontario – Kaylee Plouffe (Sherwood Park, Alta.) is the U SPORTS player of the week in women’s volleyball after two impressive matches that led the Trinity Western Spartans to a pair of victories over the Thompson Rivers Wolfpack last weekend. The third-year middle opened the weekend with a 25.5-point performance from 22 kills and four blocks and followed her masterclass with 23 points on Friday on 17 kills, three aces, and six blocks.
The Spartans are set to take on No. 1-ranked UBC Thunderbirds this Thursday and Friday in a home-and-home series.
