Support4Sport Award Winner Announced

Congratulations to the Annapolis Valley Bolt Volleyball Club!

Nova Scotia’s largest amateur sport recognition event looks little bit different again this year. Due to public health restrictions, competition wasn’t possible for many sport organizations over the past 12 months, making the usual competition-based awards infeasible. Instead, the 2021 Support4Sport Sport Makes a Difference Awards honoured one individual or group from each provincial sport organization who went above and beyond to make a positive impact for their sport over the past year

“The Annapolis Valley Bolt Volleyball Club never wavered and continued to support their players and coaches throughout the pandemic. During the lockdown, they created social media contests and hosted an online leadership course for their players. When it was safe to do so, they offered outdoor spring and summer beach volleyball programs one night a week for each age group. The players loved the new program and the efforts to keep the membership engaged were greatly appreciated!”
