QUOTABLE TWU Head Coach Ryan Hofer
“Our goal was to put a lot of pressure on them from the baseline tonight. And I thought we did that. There were times when we ran into trouble because we just didn’t force them to play the ball and not adjusting to their block lineup. Props to MacEwan they blocked us really well this evening. They had a good plan in place and the forced us to make really good shots in order score.”
“We had a great job by Kirsten Kampman (Chilliwack, B.C.) and Maryn Boldon going out there and swinging aggressively. Dora did great job of distributing the ball and running our attack. Our back line of Emma Gamache and Mikayla McBain were really solid defensively. And our middle blockers were super-efficient tonight and they did a great job of controlling the ball and the net.”
