HAMILTON, Ontario – The Trinity Western Spartans dropped their final match of the McMaster Thanksgiving Classic 3-2 to the Brock Badgers Saturday morning at Burridge Gym in Hamilton, Ont. The 18-25, 30-28, 21-25, 25-18, and 15-6 loss puts the Spartans at 1-2 in the tournament.

The Spartans will now head home for the annual West Coast Classic Oct. 13-14 when TWU will face the MacEwan Griffins and the Calgary Dinos. Match times are at 6:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. at the Langley Events Centre. The Spartans open up Canada West conference play on October 20-21 when they will host the Fraser Valley Cascades.
