Sitting Volleyball Selection Camp
Calgary will be the site of the men’s sitting volleyball selection camp, Sept. 16 to 19 at the Junior Varsity Volleyball Training Centre.
“Not only are we hosting current team members, but also are putting out an open call for athletes with the potential to be classified as a sitting volleyball athlete,” explains Kerry MacDonald of Volleyball Canada. “We’re encouraging athletes of all levels of experience to contact us to learn more about the potential of playing the sport on the international stage.”

The men’s team is currently ranked 16th in the world rankings and 3rd in the ParaPan American Zone, but missed out on qualification for the Paralympic Games in Tokyo.
The team will be preparing for and competing at the Zonal championships (dates and location TBC) and World Cup (Egypt, Dec 10-15) this year.
