KAMLOOPS – The Thompson Rivers WolfPack men’s volleyball team has added another big time addition to their 2024-25 recruiting class with the announcement that Blake Scatcherd has committed to TRU.
“I first saw Blake at the recruiting showcase in Toronto and was immediately impressed,” said WolfPack head coach Pat Hennelly. “Blake has the size and wingspan we have been looking to add, he moves well and has solid ball control. I believe the future is very bright for Blake and our program.”
A 6-10 outside hitter from London, ON Scatcherd plays his club volleyball for Forest City Volleyball Club.
Coming from a volleyball family, Scatcherd fell in love with the game from a young age. His mom Shannon played volleyball at Michigan State University while his sister Sydney plays for Mount Royal University.
Scatcherd plans to study English at TRU.
