(MONTREAL, QC) The UNB REDS dropped a 3-0 decision to the host Montreal Carabins Saturday, in the second match of their 2023-24 RSEQ men’s volleyball season.
The Carabins won a close match with scores of 25-23, 25-23 and 30-28.
The teams split their weekend series and are both 1-and-1 and tied for second place in the RSEQ standings.
Rafael Hilario led the REDS attack with 12 kills while Jacob Harris contributed seven.
Lucas Maffia recorded five digs.
The REDS now return home and will host the Laval Rouge et Or Friday and Saturday at the Richard J. Currie Center.
Friday’s first serve is scheduled for 8:00pm. Saturday’s match is scheduled for a 3:00pm start.
