KINGSTON, Ont. (June 24, 2024) – Queen’s Women’s Volleyball’s Claire Carter was named to Canada’s U21 squad for the upcoming U21 NORCECA Continental Championship in Toronto, Ont. this weekend.
Carter (School of Business) recently completed their first season with the Gaels, recording 41 kills in 18 sets played from the outside hitter position.
Carter, from Hamilton, Ont., is one of 12 players named to the squad for Canada.
The U21 NORCECA Continental Championship is a qualifier for the 2025 Women’s U21 World Championships and will take place in Toronto from June 25-30. Canada will take on Costa Rica, the US Virgin Islands, and Mexico in the group stage of the tournament.
