Queen’s Women’s Volleyball lost 3-1 to the Toronto Varsity Blues (No. 2) Sunday in Toronto, Ont. The Gaels lost the game 17-25, 26-24, 20-25, 22-25 to drop their record on the season to 4-2. The Varsity Blues improved to 6-0 with the win.
Arielle Palermo (Burlington, Ont.) led Queen’s in kills with 15 and digs with 12. Mary Stewart (Uxbridge, Ont.) also had 12 digs and 14 kills. Stewart also led the Gaels with three blocks and two aces.
Queen’s returns to the court next weekend with two home games at the ARC, hosting the Nipissing Lakers Saturday at 12:30 p.m. and the Trent Excalibur Sunday at 12:30 p.m.
