Queen’s Men’s Volleyball fall to Brock in four sets

Queen’s Men’s Volleyball fell to the Brock Badgers 3-1 (25-23, 19-25, 19-25, 22-25) Friday night in St. Catharines, Ont.

After winning the opening set, the Gaels lost three close sets in a row, ultimately falling to the Badgers in four sets.

Erik Siksna led Queen’s with 17 kills while also adding two aces and an assist.

Chris Zimmerman also had a strong game for the Gaels, finishing with 32 assists, six blocks, and three digs.

With the loss, Queen’s record fell to 10-7 on the season. The Gaels currently sit fifth in the OUA East Division standings.

Queen’s and Brock will close out their weekend doubleheader on Saturday, Feb. 11 at 8 p.m. in St. Catharines.
