Sarah Pavan was born and raised in Kitchener, Ontario and has been involved in the volleyball world for a long time. At just 16 years old, Sarah joined the Women’s national indoor team and was the youngest to ever be selected for the team. Sarah went on to play in the NCAA at the University of Nebraska, where she went on to win four first team All-American awards and win the NCAA title in 2006. At the age of 26 Sarah transitioned into the beach world in hopes of qualifying for the 2016 Rio Olympics, where she would go on to compete in. Sarah’s mother Cindy and sister Rebecca both had stints on the national teams. Sarah enjoys spending her time reading books and crossword puzzles.
