Capping off a spectacular regular season, fifth-year setter Sara Rohr was named a First-Team All-Canadian on Wednesday, March 12 during the All-Canadian Award Ceremony in Hamilton.
Rohr ran the offence to great effect during the regular season, finishing second in U SPORTS and first in Ontario University Athletics (OUA) with 10.9 assists per set. Her 643 total assists also placed her first in the province.
The Milton native accomplished a career milestone on Feb. 16 against the visiting Waterloo Warriors, setting a new program record in career assists with over 2,475 and besting the mark previously set by Ally Fast (2007-2011).
On top of being recognized as one of the best in Canada, Rohr ends her Badgers career with three OUA First Team All-Star selections and a recently acquired OUA Player of the Year award.
