GUELPH, Ont. – The Gryphons men’s volleyball team got their 2024-25 OUA regular season off to a strong start, with a straight sets victory over the Waterloo Warriors on Friday (Oct. 25) at the Guelph Gryphons Athletics Centre. Set scores were 25-18, 25-22 & 25-18. Cameron Chadwick (7 kills), Alexander Odle (6 kills) and Blake Brand (7 points) all helped contribute in a balanced attack for the Gryphons. Standout middle blocker, Josh Glasbergen also added 6 points before being forced to leave the game with a lower body injury. The Gryphons (1-0) and Warriors (0-1) will square off once again on Saturday night (Oct. 26) at the Guelph Gryphons Athletics Centre, with game time set for 8pm.
