Halifax, NS – December 1st, 2019 – the most deserving and influential NCCP Coach Developers in Canada are honoured annually by the Coaching Association of Canada (CAC) with the Community NCCP Coach Developer Awards. Included among the 2019 recipients is Nova Scotia’s Morgan Snow (Berwick, NS) for his work in the sport of Volleyball. These awards recognize outstanding individuals who have gone above and beyond to inspire and develop National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) coaches in their community. A total of 17 NCCP Coach Developers from across the country have been recently recognized with an award for their contributions to the sport system in Canada.
“Morgan has invested considerable time and energy into developing and educating NCCP coaches, which has had an overwhelmingly positive impact on their community,” said Natalie Rumscheidt, Director of Marketing and Communications at the Coaching Association of Canada. “He is a proven leader who is an invaluable resource and mentor for aspiring coaches. We are honoured to present Morgan Snow with a 2019 Community NCCP Coach Developer Award.”
Volleyball Nova Scotia presented the award to Morgan at our AGM on December 1st.
“We are extremely grateful and feel privileged to have a Coach Developer like Morgan in our organization. Morgan provides an exceptional “ignite” moment for our newest coaches and guides them toward the coach culture we are trying to facilitate in Nova Scotia – one of a growth mindset and continuous learning.
Volleyball Nova Scotia’s greatest ability to impact our athletes comes through our success in developing and supporting our coaches. With Morgan leading the way, we are on a path to success.
We thank the CAC and NCCP for recognizing Morgan, and that his impact and contributions to Coach Development for VNS are among the best for all sport in Canada.”
