Women’s Volleyball Player of the Week: Victoria Iannotti, McGill

Victoria Iannotti scored 37 points as the Martlets won a pair of victories over the weekend, defeating Sherbrooke 3-1 on Friday, followed by a 3-2 win over Laval on Saturday. She registered her points on the strength of 33 kills, one service ace, two stuff blocks, and a pair of assisted blocks over nine sets. She added four assists and, on defense, she contributed 22 digs.
The results leave McGill just two points out of first place with a 6-3 record in the eight-team RSEQ conference.
Men’s Volleyball Player of the Week: Isaac Heslinga, Alberta

- Hometown: Orangeville, Ont.
- Year: 3rd
- Program: Engineering
Isaac Heslinga scored 17.5 points with a .389 hit percentage and 17 kills in a 3-1 loss against Trinity Western on Friday evening. However, his Saturday performance led the Golden Bears to a 3-1 victory over the Spartans. He hit .316 and had 17 kills once again, with a total of 19 points.
