Gaels sweep Trent with 3-1 home victory

KINGSTON, Ont. (Nov. 11, 2023) – Queen’s Men’s Volleyball defeated the Trent Excalibur 3-1 (28-26, 21-25, 25-17, 25-20) Saturday night at the Athletics and Recreation Centre (ARC).

Erik Siksna (Markham, Ont.) led the Gaels offensively with a game-high 19 kills while also adding three aces and a team-high three blocks.

Chris Zimmerman (Prince George, B.C.) had 39 assists and two blocks for Queen’s in the win.

And Lhexen Rabit (Hamilton, Ont.) topped the stats with a game-high eight digs.

With the win, the Gaels swept the Excalibur in their weekend series and remained undefeated on the season, improving their record to 4-0.

Queen’s will return to the court next weekend, hosting the Brock Badgers in a doubleheader, on Saturday, Nov. 18 at 8 pm and Sunday, Nov. 19 at 4 pm.
