Queen’s Women’s Volleyball closed out their regular season Saturday in Waterloo, Ont. falling to the Waterloo Warriors 3-2 in five sets (25-18, 21-25, 14-25, 25-17, 8-15) in Waterloo, Ont.
After jumping out to a lead after the first set, Queen’s dropped the next two sets before forcing a fifth and deciding set. Waterloo ultimately took the last set and the match.
With the loss, the Gaels’ record fell to 11-9 and Queen’s will finish the regular season in seventh place in the OUA standings.
Hannah Duchesneau led Queen’s with a game-high 16 kills while adding 10 digs.
Mary Stewart had a team-high 16 digs while also adding 13 kills and five blocks.
