KINGSTON, Ont. (June 13, 2023) – Queen’s Women’s Volleyball alumnae Arielle Palermo and Caroline Livingston will represent Team Canada in the second round of Volleyball Nations League (VNL).

Second round of VNL starts Tuesday in Hong Kong, with Canada taking on China, Bulgaria, Turkey, and the Dominican Republic in Pool 3 action.

Both Palermo and Livingston played for Canada in VNL last summer as well. Livingston also represented Canada in the first round of VNL earlier this summer.

Palermo finished a distinguished five-year career with the Gaels this past spring. A two-time OUA All-Star and OUA All-Rookie, Palermo finished last season with 117 kills.

Livingston graduated from Queen’s in 2019. In her final season with the Gaels, she was named an OUA East First-Team All-Star and the recipient of the Award of Merit, which honours her work in the classroom and the community where she served as a co-president of the Queen’s Varsity Leadership Council.
