Middelfart VK won the 2021 Danish Men’s Volleyball Cup.
Middelfart VK beat the odds and prevailed over Gentofte Volley in the final of the 2021 Danish Men’s Landspokal Herrer.
It was a showdown between two clubs that both have a great volleyball history in Denmark. Even though they are undefeated in the national championship, Gentofte were swept in the final of the national cup that was held on Middelfart ground and failed to defend the trophy in the competition: 3-0 (25-18, 25-20, 26-24).
Middelfart were led today by Canadian Irvan Brar, who scored 19 points and had 82 % reception (17 digs, 1 error, 59 % perfect). Mads Møllgaard collected 12 points on the losing side, while Anders Hartmann had 72 % reception (18 digs, 2 errors, 39 % perfect).
