Christian Battisti appointed general manager of Beach Rules of the Game Commission

The World ParaVolley Board officially approved the appointment of Christian Battisti as the General Manager of the WPV Beach Rules of the Game Commission.

Battisti will be working closely with the Sport Director to support the development of beach paravolley.

Battisti has been refereeing in volleyball and beach volleyball since he was 16 years old and still active as a national indoor, beach volleyball and sitting volleyball referee. He passed his FIVB BVB IRCC in 2012 in Tunis, Tunisia and WPV IRCC in 2015 in Elblag, Poland.

Since 2019 he has been a member of ParaVolley Europe Technical Commission (Beach). He is also a referee instructor for all three disciplines under his national federation FIPAV.

He speaks Italian, English, French, Spanish and a little German and works as a sales manager for a private company that manufactures aircraft interiors.
