June 20, 2022: Volleyball Canada is pleased to share the roster for the 2022 Bicentennial Independence Cup, set to take place June 20-24 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
“We are all extremely excited for the opportunity to compete as the first U23 program, a program that is able to create a bridge between the younger ager groups and the Next Gen roster,” said head coach Michael Hawkins. “This team is presenting opportunities for guys to not only get exposure to international competition but also to accelerate their development through our National Team pathway.
“We are in Brazil with an extremely talented roster that are hungry to compete and represent Canada on the international stage.”
Canada’s U23 team will face off against Argentina and Brazil in the event.
