The Wesmen took control of the first set after the teams exchanged the first 10 points. Winnipeg ended the frame on with seven straight points, including three consecutive kills from Emma Parker.

The second was close, with Brandon holding an 11-9 lead before Winnipeg managed another late run. The Bobcats managed to keep it closer but Winnipeg kept calm and cool in collecting the set win.
