Beach Summer Athlete Selection Underway

Volleyball Canada is selecting athletes to train full-time with the Summer Next Gen Beach Volleyball National Team from May 22 to Aug 31, 2024.
 
Athletes are required to submit videos for the first round of selections via the GMTM platform. Athletes with successful submissions will be invited to attend the in-person tryouts at Volleyball Canada’s indoor beach training centre in Toronto, Ontario (Downsview). The deadline to submit the video is February 25 at 17:00 ET (GMTM links below).
 
Athletes will be notified by March 19 if they are invited to attend the in-person tryouts held on May 10 to 12. The in-person summer selection camp will serve to evaluate, identify and select a group of athletes who have the potential or have demonstrated skills to represent Canada internationally for the 2024 season and beyond.
 
The selected Beach National Summer Team (men and women) will train full-time in Toronto from May 22 to Aug 31 under the direction of National Team Next Gen coaches, Josh Nichol and Mark Gatto.
