The Brock Badgers men’s volleyball team dominated the RMC Paladins in their season opener.
On Friday, Oct. 25 the Badgers started their season with a commanding three-set win (25-20, 25-16, 25-17) over the Paladins in Kingston.
Brock’s defensive efforts were a force in the win, tallying a collective seven blocks compared to RMC’s one.
Fourth-year outside hitter Kylar Code led the way for Brock earning 12 kills and a .545 kill percentage.
Offensively the Badgers were on point the whole night with hitting percentages of .320 in the first set and .385 in the second set.
The third and final set was the best performance as Brock’s hitting percentage was an astonishing .412.
Second-year setter Adam Shapcott lead the Badgers in assists with 18.
Up next, the Badgers will rematch the RMC Paladins on Saturday, Oct. 26 in Kingston.
