Born in Lausanne, Switzerland but moved to Toronto, Ontario at the age of seven, Brandie has had quite a unique journey to being on the women’s national beach team for Canada. Before Brandie started to make a name for herself on the beach, she was playing indoor volleyball at York University, where she won York Female Rookie of the Year and was named as a CIS All-Canadian twice. She made her first international beach appearance at 22 years old and enjoys drawing in her free time, and also collects flowers from international competitions.
