Holland College has been a proud member of the ACAA and CCAA since 2006, and we pride ourselves on being an excellent hosts. In addition to hosting the 2016 CCAA Women’s Volleyball National Championship, the Hurricanes have also recently hosted CCAA Championships in Men’s Soccer (2018), Men’s Basketball (2017), Golf (2016) and Men’s Volleyball (2015).
We’re looking forward to introducing you to the Prince Edward Island hospitality which is known the world over!

McMillan Center for Community Engagement
Located on Holland College’s Prince of Wales Campus, the McMillan Centre for Community Engagement is a multi-use event centre that offers fitness and recreation, wellness and academic programming, and meeting spaces for business, industry, and community. It is home of the Holland Hurricanes, the college’s varsity athletics program.
The McMillan Centre includes:
- a multi-use 9,400 square foot gymnasium
- bleacher gym floor seating capacity 660 people
- full perimeter walking/running track overlooking gym
- a fitness centre
- an indoor walking/running track
- a fitness studio
- a first aid/physiotherapy room
- 4 team locker rooms complete with a change area, lockers, showers and washrooms
- Officials locker room complete with a change area, lockers, shower and washroom
- male/female change rooms with lockers, shower and washroom
- a cardio and assessment area
