Volleyball Manitoba is pleased to announce Spring Skill Sessions for boys and girls born in 2006 (15U), 2007 ( 14U), and 2008 (13U). The program will run from April 7th until May 16th at Sport Manitoba and Dakota Community Centre. Athletes will have 9 x 1-hour training sessions with game play scheduled on the weekend of May 15/16 should public health orders allow. Training sessions will focus on building volleyball skills and include game play formats as allowed under public health orders.
Athletes will be assigned to a training group for the duration of the program. All training will be planned and led by Volleyball Manitoba coaches and each training group will require 1-2 adults (parent/guardian/sibling/etc.) to act as assistant coaches and help with the practice and monitoring COVID-19 protocols. Should athletes wish to participate with a friend, please indicate on the registration form the name(s) of the request. Attempts will be made to accommodate as many requests as possible but are not guaranteed.
Participants in this program must have some experience playing school or club volleyball but cannot be registered on a club team for the 2021 season.
Volleyball Manitoba reserves the right to adjust or combine age groups depending on the number of interested participants. When registering, athletes should select the program that corresponds to their birth year.
