The 2021/2022 Volleyball Manitoba Board of Directors met on Sunday, September 19th for the first time as a newly appointed Board following the Annual General Meeting earlier this month. The officers were elected from amongst the Directors, including a new President and Treasurer.
Roger Labossiere, Volleyball Manitoba’s former Treasurer, has been elected as Volleyball Manitoba’s newest President and Azad Hosein, a former Volleyball Manitoba Director, was elected as the new Treasurer.
In addition to these two new appointments to Volleyball Manitoba’s Executive, Volleyball Manitoba will have Andrei Halkewycz return as Vice President as well as Tim Au who will return as Volleyball Manitoba’s Secretary.
Labossiere is excited to assume his new role as President. “I believe this is an exciting time for Volleyball Manitoba. We have been through some challenges over the past 18 months, however we are now starting to see a ‘return to play’ which brings about a new renewed cautious optimism” states Labossiere. Labossiere, along with the rest of the governing body for volleyball in Manitoba, plan to navigate a safe return to the sport with a focus on retaining and growing the membership through grassroots initiation and reintroducing those back into the sport of volleyball as we emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic.
We recognize the following Board members who will provide stewardship and guidance for the association for this 2021/2022 year:
President Roger Labossiere
Vice-President Andrei Halkewycz
Treasurer Azad Hosein
Secretary Tim Au
Director Jennifer Krahn

Director Madison Minarik
Director Ryan Munt
Director Michelle Sawatzky-Koop
