SOFIA RADER SET TO JOIN SPARTANS IN 2023

HEAD COACH – RYAN HOFER

“We are excited to add Izzy to the Spartan family, she comes to us from the highly respected and well coached  Thunder Volleyball Club. Izzy is an outstanding leaper who has great range and shot control as an attacker.  She will also add great stability and control to our back court from her experience as a high-performance beach player. She is known to be a phenomenal teammate, extremely coachable athlete, and we know that she will be a great fit in our Spartan culture.” 

ISABELLE MUSHOLT-KO

“Sofia comes to us from just south of the border in Lynden Washington and is the first US addition to the team in many years. A big thanks to Dennis Janzen for helping us cross paths! Sofia brings incredible balance to the libero position with her consistent passing and tenacity in defense. We love her competitive drive, her pursuit on the floor and the level of communication she has with her teammates.  We know that she will be a great addition to our Spartan Culture.”

“The Spartans are proud to announce the signing of Erika Bang who is set to join the women’s volleyball program at TWU in the fall of 2023. Erika brings a heavy arm, competitive spirit, and an intensity for improvement.  She has spent this summer representing Canada at the U19 Pan American cup in Tulsa.  We are looking forward to working with her, having her join our team culture, and watching her grow with us as a Spartan.”

“We are excited to announce the signing of Isabella Stothart to our 2023 roster.  Isabella is bringing a combination of her physical presence, speed, and dynamic abilities, as well as a desire to learn and grow.  Her ability to move and block will greatly complement our Spartans roster.  Isabella has been training with the National Excellence Program which has given her international experience and competition, and we are honored that she has chosen to be a Spartan to continue her career alongside us.”
