The Lakers held on to win 25-23 in the fourth and extend the match to five sets, where the Gaels snuck out the win, thanks to a 15-13 score.

Jackson Young had a huge match, picking up 27 kills and 30 points, while Trent O’Brien and Jacob Ringma each added 10 kills in the match.

In Saturday’s contest, the Gaels took the first set, 25-17, before the Lakers replied with a 25-18 win in the second.

Queen’s wrapped up the match winning the third set 25-22 and 25-19 in the fourth.

Young once again led the Lakers with 19 kills, Trent O’Brien had seven and Tyrus Cuculick added six in the contest.

Nipissing returns home to take on the Windsor Lancers for a pair of matches next weekend.
