Golden Bears remain in top spot, Sherbrooke up to No. 2

The Alberta Golden Bears remain atop the U SPORTS men’s volleyball Top 10, having held the top spot in the weekly ranking all season. Meanwhile, the UBC Thunderbirds entered the Top 10 this week at the No. 9 spot.

No. 2 Sherbrooke (15-1) and No. 3 McMaster (18-2) swapped spots this week as both No. 4 Mount Royal (19-5), and No. 5 Trinity Western (18-6) held steady in the top five. No. 6 Saskatchewan (17-7) and No. 7 Windsor (15-5) traded places as No. 8 Montréal (11-5) kept their spot. No. 10 Brandon (13-11) fell one spot to round out the Top 10.

This week has two Top 10 matchups on the schedule as the Canada West quarterfinals have four Top 10 teams playing best-of-three series this week: No. 5 Trinity Western kicks off their series against No. 10 Brandon on Thursday as No. 9 UBC plays No. 6 Saskatchewan, with their series starting on Friday.
