Coaches Week 2022

Volleyball Canada is pleased to once again join the Coaching Association of Canada during National Coaches Week to say #ThanksCoach and celebrate the positive impact coaches have on athletes and their communities across Canada.

“Throughout this past year, we saw thousands of athletes return to our sport and come together once again at events across the country. This would not have been possible without the dedication and commitment from the many coaches at all levels of volleyball in Canada,” said Ian Halliday, Volleyball Canada’s Manager of Coach Pathways. “Volleyball Canada would like to sincerely thank all of our coaches, who commit countless hours to providing positive opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to play the sport of volleyball.”

Volleyball Canada encourages all coaches to take part in National Coaches Week and to take advantage of the many professional development opportunities being offered across the country.

PETRO CANADA SPORT LEADERSHIP SPORTIF
NOVEMBER 10-12, 2022

Registration for the 2022 Petro-Canada Sport Leadership sportif conference is now open!

The SLS22 conference theme is “A Tribute to Perseverance.” Over the past two years, we have witnessed incredible demonstrations of resilience, courage, and empathy within the world of sport. Sport has been a vital part of the recovery plan in Canada as we navigated the return to normalcy after disruption, and it continues to be a source of connection and healing for so many people across the country.

SLS22 is a time to recognize the loss and adversity we have faced, to commemorate how far we’ve come, and to celebrate the opportunities that lie before us. The conference theme this year honours the perseverance at the heart of this journey and the passion required to drive sport forward

The CAC is offering a discounted registration fee of $275 (in-person) or $15 (online) for delegates who register during the early bird period. As of September 30, 2022, the registration fee for the conference will be $375 (in-person) or $30 (online).
