Sistem9 Yeşilyurt İstanbul are the new champions of the CEV Women’s Volleyball Challenge Cup.
Beating Romania’s C.S.M. Volei Alba Blaj twice in straight sets of the finals, Turkey’s Sistem9 Yeşilyurt İstanbul became the champions of the 2021 Women’s Challenge Cup, winning the competition for the first time in their history. Partially, it was 25-17, 25-17, 25-12 in the 2nd leg.
Alexia-Ioana Căruțașu was without mercy to their compatriots, scoring 19 points tonight and earned the MVP of the final award. Canadian Jennifer Cross set up 5 blocks, while Bihter Dumanoğlu made 74 % reception (19 digs, 58 % excellent).
